Olympus announces the appointment of Bob White as Representative Executive Officer, President, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective June 1, 2025.
The Board of Directors unanimously decided on Bob's appointment, and he is also proposed as a candidate for election to the Board at Olympus' General Meeting of Shareholders, which is scheduled to be held in June 2025.
Before his most recent role as Executive Vice President and President of Medical Surgical Portfolio for Medtronic, Bob served as Senior Vice President and President of Medtronic Asia Pacific, overseeing operations across the region, including Japan. He has driven numerous innovation programs, R&D initiatives, and M&A transactions and gained strategic market insights through close collaboration with physicians and customers.
